The C2L-T2X sits in Monitor Audio’s Tier 2 Creator Series range, above the simpler Tier 1 models and below the more advanced Tier 3 designs. It is built for installations that need more flexibility from one ceiling position, combining RST II driver technology, strong output capability and practical mode switching. This makes it useful for music playback, shared listening spaces and cinema effects, where one speaker may need to cover a wider role. For homes with varied room layouts, it offers adaptable performance without adding extra visible hardware.
T2X Design For Three Listening Modes
The T2X suffix identifies this as the twin-tweeter, multi-mode version in the C2L range. It can work as a single-speaker stereo model using two amplifier channels, giving music clearer left and right information from one ceiling position. It can also run as a mono wide-dispersion speaker with the tweeters in phase, or as a cinema FX speaker with the tweeters out of phase. This gives installers more ways to match one ceiling speaker to the room layout, system design and listening purpose.
