The Monitor Audio C2L is designed for in-ceiling installations where stronger acoustic performance is needed without moving to the top of the range. Its two-way layout pairs a 9" RST II bass driver with a 1.25" C-CAM tweeter, giving it the scale and clarity needed for music, TV sound, and overhead cinema channels.
With a 30Hz to 25kHz installed frequency response, 88dB sensitivity, and 120W continuous power handling, the C2L is well suited to larger rooms and more capable amplifier setups. The UD Waveguide helps spread high frequencies more evenly, while HF and corner switches give useful adjustment during installation. It fits into a 248mm cut-out and is supplied with a white round grille for a discreet ceiling finish.

The C2L sits between the C1L and C3L in Monitor Audio’s large Creator Series in-ceiling range, giving you a clear step up without moving to the highest tier. It adds an RST II bass driver for greater control and clarity, helping music, films and TV audio sound more composed in demanding rooms. With 120W power handling, it can support higher listening levels with confidence. The C3L remains the higher-tier option, but the C2L offers a strong balance of performance, value and discreet ceiling integration at home comfortably.
Flexible Installation With Room Adjustment
Quik-Link helps speed up speaker cable connection, making installation quicker and neater across single-room and multi-speaker projects. Once positioned, Tri-Grip II clamps the C2L securely into the ceiling, supporting a firm fit and a clean finished appearance. A 99mm mounting depth and 248mm cut-out give installers clear dimensions before work begins, which helps reduce uncertainty on site. HF and corner switches also let installers fine-tune the sound for room placement, especially when the speaker sits close to walls or boundaries.
