Ortofon 2M Bronze Premounted MM Cartridge Overview
The Ortofon 2M Bronze Premounted MM Cartridge has been combined with the Ortofon SH-4 Headshell and comes packed ready for easy installation. The dimensions and weight of the 2M Series is perfectly compatible with a wide range of tonearms and turntables available on the market today.
The 2M Bronze cartridge is a high-performance model and is the first in the 2M to feature the specially upgraded engine which includes split pole pins with silver-plated copper wire. The stylus has been meticulously engineered with a precision-machined nude fine-line diamond tip. This slim profile design allows the 2M Bronze to extract more information from the record, with an engine to amplify the output to 5.5 mV, ensuring accuracy of the highest quality.
The 2M Bronze is engineered with a cartridge body made from Lexan DMX Piano Black. As well as achieving reduced distortion through its high rigidity, the stylus is interchangeable with its sibling, the 2M Black, meaning that you have the flexibility to upgrade or replace your stylus as required, ensuring longevity and maintaining the best possible sound quality for your vinyl records.
