The 2M Blue features a Nude Elliptical stylus, which is cut from a single diamond and mounted directly onto the cantilever. This differs from the 2M Red, which uses a bonded elliptical stylus where the diamond is attached to a metal shank. By eliminating the extra material, the 2M Blue reduces tip mass and improves responsiveness to rapid groove modulations. You’ll hear a clearer, more refined sound, especially on complex recordings.
