The 6 Best CD Players with Bluetooth

10/10/2025

Have you been looking for a CD player with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can both listen to your CDs and stream with ease from your smartphone? Well, here are six of my favourite CD players that bring both CD playback and Bluetooth connectivity together.

Before we get started, it’s important to note that Bluetooth is a rare feature for CD players alone. So, many of these CD players are all-in-one systems like the Eversolo Play and Naim Uniti Star, but don’t think that makes them any less capable. These use fantastic DACs, which is what matters with high fidelity audio playback

We also have options like the Technics SL-G700M2E-K, which bring all the streaming features you could desire. So, let’s dive into the best CD players with Bluetooth – from dedicated CD players to all-in-one systems.

Why we’ve chosen these CD players

CD players with Bluetooth might sound like an easy find, but in truth, it isn’t, which you’ll know all too well, seeing as you’ve arrived on this page! It’s usually the amplifier which includes the Bluetooth connectivity.

However, we’ve found one option that is particularly well-suited to those looking for a standalone unit, while the rest are ideal as all-in-one solutions, offering everything you might need.

To choose the players for this list, I looked at their connectivity and how it performed in a typical room without pushing it too hard. For a fair evaluation, I tested the players with the same speakers, the Q Acoustics Q 5020, using tracks by AC/DC, B.B. King, M83, and Womack & Womack on CDs.

All these systems performed exceedingly well for their price point, and I actually managed to find the limit of the Q Acoustics Q 5020 speakers with the last two systems!

I then tried the same songs via Bluetooth and one song via AirPlay, just to see if there was a difference

I also wanted to walk you through the inputs and outputs, along with any features I felt were worth highlighting. What you’ll find in this article is the result of that process: a brief walkthrough of six CD players with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones.

The best CD players with Bluetooth

1. Denon CEOL RCD-N10 Network CD Music System

Denon CEOL RCD-N10 Network CD Music System, Gloss GreyKey features

  • 65W per channel
  • Supports multiple streaming platforms
  • Hands-free with Amazon Alexa

Pros

  • Minimalist design will suit many setups
  • Includes subwoofer output for upgraded bass
  • Simple to set up

Cons

  • No DAB tuner

The Denon CEOL RCD-N10 Network CD Music System is cool, compact, and very easy to use, and it makes the top of our list for good reason.

Immediately on unpacking, I was struck by just how compact the system is, measuring 280mm wide, 305mm in depth, and just 108mm in height. There is also a plethora of connections and features.

Its streaming features include all the big hitters like TIDAL, Spotify, and TuneIn; plus, its ability to play hi-res audio is a nice touch, as not all do.

Looking at the connections, at the rear, you get both digital and optical inputs, plus an FM aerial input. On the front, you get a 3.5mm headphone jack, a neatly designed display just below the CD drawer, and two buttons on either side, plus a USB input.

The main controls are located on the top, which keeps the front of the Denon so clean-looking. These are touch-sensitive and give you all the simple requirements needed to operate the Denon CEOL, while the remote control gives you even more.

Plugging a pair of Q Acoustics Q 5020 bookshelf speakers from our system builder made use of the 65 watts of power on tap, and playing a selection of CDs instantly presented the system’s musical presence.

It was easy to connect to the network, while streaming to the CD player with Bluetooth from my smartphone was even easier. Playing Spotify via AirPlay 2 was just a couple of clicks away, too.

2. Marantz Melody X M-CR612 All-In-One Hi-Fi System

Marantz Melody X M-CR612 All-In-One Hi-Fi System, BlackKey features

  • HEOS app control
  • Includes voice assist
  • Multiple streaming options

Pros

  • Elegant design
  • Warm, musical sound
  • Works well with a wide range of speakers

Cons

  • It can sound a little weak with bass on Bluetooth

The Marantz Melody X M-CR612 All-In-One Hi-Fi System has to be one of the best-looking on this list, thanks to that classic Marantz Design. And it only misses out on the top spot because it requires you to be a little more tech-savvy with its setup.

Like the Denon above, the Marantz Melody is almost identical in its proportions. It’s already unboxed in our showroom, so if you’re in the Bacup area, take a look!

From the front, the classic Marantz design is present, and the buttons feel very satisfying and precise to use, showing Marantz’s dedication to quality in every detail.

At the rear, there are two pairs of speaker outputs, allowing you to either bi-wire or use the Marantz to play music in a second zone. A subwoofer output is also available for zone 1, along with a DAB/FM tuner aerial, two digital optical Toslink ports, a single stereo RCA input, and both Ethernet and USB inputs. There’s an analogue output, too, which is a nice touch.

Powering the unit on and playing my first track revealed a far more grown-up, musical feel to the sound, bringing a warm tone through the speakers.

It’s fairly simple to stream music to this CD player via Bluetooth. That Marantz sound remains, although the bass does fall away a little, which isn’t uncommon for Bluetooth streaming. It’s easy to understand why many choose the Marantz Melody as it’s an ideal CD player, can stream music via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and has multiple streaming services.

3. Technics SA-C600 Network CD Receiver

Technics SA-C600 Network CD Receiver, SilverKey features

  • MM turntable connectivity
  • Hi-res streaming capabilities
  • Refined power system

Pros

  • Bags of power for driving floor-standing speakers
  • Premium build quality
  • The interactive disc loading system is a nice touch

Cons

  • Not as aesthetically pleasing as others on the list

Another popular CD player system, the Technics SA-C600 Network CD Receiver boasts double the wattage of the Marantz above, and you can instantly tell.

This is a very popular CD receiver, so it’s also out in our showroom, if you fancy a look.

First, let’s discuss the remote. It’s weighty, and its buttons are clearly placed. It actually feels a bit like the flagship Panasonic TV remote, which, if you know, you’ll understand, as there is a link between the two brands.

On the system itself, you’ll notice there is no CD drawer. Rather, you’ll find a rather cool transparent swivel disc on top. It gives the SA-C600 a unique touch of class, and upon use, it feels as though you’re interacting with vinyl.

At the rear, you’ll find a dedicated phono stage, separate line-in, both digital and coaxial inputs, a USB-B PC input, and a subwoofer out. Let’s not forget the DAB/FM aerial or Ethernet inputs either.

Using the Q Acoustics Q 5020 speakers, I was impressed by the large soundstage that makes full use of the speakers. It’s the same story when using the Technics SA-C600 with Bluetooth, and thanks to its high-quality built-in DAC, it can sample those lesser quality Bluetooth streams and make them stand out from the norm.

If you want more musicality, I recommend using the SA-C600 with a pair of Technics speakers.

4. Eversolo Play Streaming Amplifier CD Edition

Eversolo Play Streaming Amplifier CD Edition, BlackKey features

  • 60W of digital power
  • CD player enables ripping too
  • Roon Ready

Pros

  • Modern touch screen colour display
  • App control is intuitive
  • Probably one of the best products of 2025

Cons

  • CD player section feels a bit flimsy

As a newcomer to the market, the Eversolo Play Streaming Amplifier CD Edition is creating a bit of a stir. I had a demo unit to play with, and hooking it to a pair of Q Acoustics Q 5020 bookshelf speakers was simple.

Taking a look a the rear, you can see there’s a plethora of connections – far more than any of the other products in this lineup, with it only missing USB-B and USB-C for PC connectivity. But HDMI is an option as it has ARC.

From the front, you can tell this isn’t like any of the other electronics in this lineup, as you are presented with a large 5.5-inch colour display touch screen. There’s a plethora of app icons like TIDAL, Qobuz, and Amazon Music, and to the side, there’s a large dial that controls both power on/off and volume.

The CD player section is located on the left-hand side of the unit. It feels a bit flimsy, but for functionality, and the sheer size of the unit, it’s a marvel that they have even managed to package a CD player into it.

Streaming-wise, there’s the standard Bluetooth 5.3 for superior audio playback.

Really, this player/amplifier is a new generation of electronics. Streaming, archiving, playing DSD or even to DOP64… it can do a lot! Oh, and it doesn’t sound too bad either.

5. Naim Uniti Star Audiophile All-in-One Music System

Naim Uniti Star Audiophile All-in-One Music SystemKey features

  • HDMI ARC connectivity
  • Plethora of streaming options
  • Custom-designed toroidal transformer

Pros

  • Sleek design
  • Cool volume control that feels exquisite
  • There isn’t much it cannot do

Cons

  • High price point

The only other system with a colour display in this lineup is the Naim Uniti Star Audiophile All-in-One Music System. It’s priced significantly higher than the Eversolo Play, but when you compare the two, you can tell that the Uniti Star is a very different beast.

Plugging the Q Acoustics Q 5020 feels like we are short-changing the Naim, but as this is a fair test, this is what we’re going with, taking these speakers as far as they can musically.

At the rear, it feels so much less cluttered with inputs than other systems, but don’t be fooled into thinking it has less. The Uniti Star is a full-sized system compared to the rest, enabling it to be better set out in a far cleaner way, and it even includes an SD card slot which none of the other have.

Ot the front, the CD player is neatly hidden on the left. The right-hand side is where you’ll find that colour display with control features and a USB and headphone jack. On top, you’ll notice the volume dial, which is up to Rolls-Royce standards for tactile touch.

Like the Eversolo, almost every conceivable streaming service is available, and it’s Roon-ready and includes Chromecast Audio. It accepts just about every musical format you can list, while also supporting Bluetooth 5.3 for CD-quality playback.

Nothing really comes close to what the Naim has to offer, but that price is premium. For those who dare to own it, they will never look elsewhere, as nothing really competes with it.

6. Technics SL-G700M2E-K Network/Super Audio CD Player

Technics SL-G700M2E-K Network / Super Audio CD Player, BlackKey features

  • Universal CD/SACD Player
  • High Precision Coherent D/A Converter
  • Dual mono-configured ESS ES9026PRO DACs

Pros

  • Great sound
  • Fantastic array of connectivity options
  • Build quality matches its price point

Cons

  • Display lets it down

The Technics SL-G700M2E-K Network/Super Audio CD Player is one of just a few dedicated CD players to include Bluetooth.

This is ideal if you have an established separates system; its perfect partner would be the Technics SU-G700M2.

At the rear, there are more connections than you might think, with three digital inputs, including a USB-B PC input and an Ethernet LAN connection, and two wifi antennas. Its outputs also include optical and coaxial digital outputs, while the analogue boasts both RCA and balanced XLR.

On the front, there are the buttons as you would expect to find on a CD player, like eject, play, and pause, but as this CD player offers more, you also get a dial control with additional buttons, which also includes headphone out volume control.

Unlike most CD players, the SL-G700M2E-K supports a comprehensive streaming platform, matching the rest of this lineup with TIDAL, Qobuz, and Spotify. There’s also SACD playback. meaning it’s a true universal CD player.

Bluetooth streaming from your smartphone enables you to take full advantage of those dual mono-configured ESS ES9026PRO DACs built in, while streaming via AirPlay 2 allows for even more detail when resolutions are higher.

As CD players go, this feels like quite a unique product, and the fact that it also includes a full-size 6.35mm headphone jack means you can use it on its own without anything other than a nice pair of headphones or speakers.

How to choose the best CD player with Bluetooth

To choose the right Bluetooth CD player for you, you need to think about how you’re going to use it. If your streaming files are MP3 or lossy and you just want to stream music from your smartphone, you need to look out for these particular logos. SBC, AAC, and aptX are certifiable musical streaming formats which both your smartphone and Bluetooth streamer need to be compatible with in order to play music via this option.

For CD quality and compatibility, aptX Lossless or aptX HD are a further requirement. There are other options like LDAC and aptX Adaptive, depending on the platform you’re streaming from.

After you’ve narrowed these things down, the choices become a lot easier. You’ll then need to decide on aesthetics, sound quality, and budget. If you already own speakers, most of the systems on our list will be suitable; just be sure to check that both will allow for seamless integration.
