The Wharfedale DS-2 Active Desktop Speakers are a Bluetooth speaker system designed to provide you with hi-fi sound in a compact package. In contrast to other Bluetooth speakers, the DS-2s retain a 2-way speaker design enabling you to enjoy a full, rich sound, without compromise. Bluetooth connectivity and a simple control layout allow you to hook up your smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs with ease and enjoy the sonically superior aptX codec. A 3.5mm jack offers added flexibility for the enjoyment of external sources that may not offer Bluetooth, such as media players and any other device with a 3.5mm output.

Packed with power
The 19mm silk dome tweeter and a 75mm mid/bass woven polypropylene driver provide full-bodied, natural sound reproduction effortlessly thanks to their lightweight, strong and low colouration properties, with bespoke metal grilles that protect your internals from damage and dust. A rear-firing port provides deep and punchy bass, far beyond the remit of speakers at this size. The speaker is driven by a high-performance digital amplification unit that outputs 2x15W continuous and 2x30W peak power.
