Using hard-wearing acrylic fibre to build its dual bass drivers and ring dome tweeter, the QX-3 MkII has excellent transient response. The ring dome itself extends the treble by preventing phase cancellation from the centre of the diaphragm.
Aluminium Plating
These floorstanding speakers feature an aluminium top plate which adds rigidity and reliability to their housing. It also helps reduce distortion and standing waves for a consistent, clear sound.
Inverted Driver Geometry
The QX MkII series features the classic inverted driver geometry of their speaker design, placing the treble unit between the two bass drivers. This improves time alignment of the sound propagation, for consistent sound and zero phase distortion.
