The Monitor Audio Bronze 500 and 50 5.1 Speaker Package with Radius 380 comes with all the necessary speaker components to establish an effective medium-sized home cinema system. Included in the 5.1 speaker set is a pair of Bronze 500 Floorstanding Speakers in Urban Grey Wood, accompanied by a pair of Bronze 50 Bookshelf Speakers, the Bronze C150 Centre Speaker, and a Radius 380 Subwoofer all in White.
With a pair of large floorstanding speakers in your home cinema setup, you can focus a greater amount of power at the front of your system and use the Bronze 50 Bookshelf Speakers as a support, yet still powerful, pair of rears. Now in its sixth generation, the Bronze Series is positioned as a great starting point for Monitor Audio passive loudspeakers. View Full DescriptionThe Monitor Audio Bronze 500 Floorstanding Speakers offer premium audio features that elevate your music. Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium drive units are utilised throughout the speakers, from their large eight-inch midbass drivers to the 25mm gold dome tweeter. This strong and ultra-lightweight material is key to the speakers' sensitivity and responsiveness, along with the performance-enhancing HiVe II bass-reflex rear ports which allow air to move smoothly from the cabinet. The Bronze 500s have a large and streamlined design, available in four fabulous finishes to match a variety of home decor. A matching magnetic grille is also supplied with each speaker, along with an outrigger feet kit and a choice between floor spikes and rubber pads for stability wherever they're placed.
The Monitor Audio Bronze 50 Bookshelf Speakers are a compact model with powerful audio performance. Even when placed against a wall they will deliver the renowned Monitor Audio Sound - so as a result, they are great for small spaces and bookshelves. Use them for hi-fi stereo, home cinema or even gaming - with their detailed sound bringing your experience to life. They use a C-CAM mid-bass driver and a C-CAM Gold dome tweeter, ensuring audio that is both powerful and detailed, perfect for improved stereo performance. This is topped off with a modern finish that complements the decor of any room. And if you want to add something extra to your surround setup, you can add the Bronze AMS Dolby Atmos upward-firing speakers on top - available separately.
The Monitor Audio Bronze C150 Centre Speaker is perfect for optimising your home cinema system. Its signature C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter has been upgraded with Uniform Dispersion (UD) Waveguide technology, which allows for an incredibly realistic and immersive listening experience. The two 5.5-inch C-CAM mid-bass driver is equipped with Damped Concentric Mode (DCM) technology, providing a deep, powerful sound. The C150's acoustically transparent hexagonal grille provides a sleek and stylish look that will fit into any room. Plus, its high-quality gold-plated bi-wire terminals, Pureflow silver-plated oxygen-free copper internal cabling and sealed cabinet all come together to provide a versatile, detailed and powerful home entertainment experience.
The Monitor Audio Radius 380 is a compact subwoofer with two side-firing drivers. Utilising Monitor Audio's 8-inch C-CAM driver design, this subwoofer uses lightweight but firm aerospace materials to deliver powerful and clear low frequencies to support full-range speakers. The Radius subwoofer also includes a passive ABR driver - a secondary passive driver that sits inside the cabinet to help push more energy out of the powered driver by moving in time with it, acting like a port whilst keeping the housing design fully sealed.
