However, the AV.com extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.

Complete redesign

With a slightly larger footprint compared to the previous model, the S3 features an improved circuit board that minimises electromagnetic interference. Brand new low-noise circuitry built around the dual-mono design principle ensures an impactful yet faithful sound when matched with quality speakers, punching well above its diminutive weight.

Versatile connections

The Maia S3 is an all-in-one solution for your hi-fi setup, it features eight inputs to suit the modern audiophile that may have music spread across different sources both digital and analogue. A phono RCA input is compatible with MM, MI and high output MC cartridges for vinyl playback, and three other RCA inputs are available for the addition of other components. Digital sources such as CD players or TVs can be used with the coax or optical S/PDIF inputs in stunning quality thanks to the built-in Cirrus DAC with quality up to 24bit 192kHz. Or, for a simple connection via smartphone or tablet, you can connect to the Maia S3 via the AptX HD capable Bluetooth 5.0 input.

Perfect for loud or private listening

For private or late-night listening while others in your household may be asleep, the Maia S3 features a front-mounted 6.3mm headphone jack for playback on your favourite headphones. Alternatively, the 4mm banana plugs provide lifelike sound with low noise to connect to your speakers whilst, the variable RCA output also enables you to output to a subwoofer or an external power amplifier in your setup.
