Denon DP-450 USB Turntable

The Denon DP-450USB features a speed selector that supports playback at 33 1/3 rpm, 45 rpm and 78 rpm. Easily play your entire vinyl collection and enjoy its full breadth. The integrated auto sensor accurately controls the platter, preventing unwanted speed fluctuations during playback, so you can enjoy audio reproduction exactly as the artist intended.

Cut and organise your ripped vinyl albums with this easy-to-use PC software. Download the metadata including cover art (for MP3 format only) for each track and easily build a digital library of your vinyl collection with each record’s original warmth and sound. At just 41 cm in width, DP-450USB is constructed to fit seamlessly into your existing Hi-Fi system.

S-Shape Tonearm

A carefully engineered S-Shape curved tonearm with optimised tracking angle at any point of the record, auto-lift at records end and playback stop. When the vinyl reaches the end of playback, the tonearm auto-lifts preserving the excellent condition of your album and the cartridge. S-Shape curved tonearm design also reduces harmonic distortion, ensuring a crystal clear sonic signal.

Wide Dispersion

Experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening significantly off-axis. Optimising the audio signal for off-axis distribution results in the signal reaching your ear directly and the signal reflected off the room surfaces, to have a coherent balance. This means a consistent high sound quality across a wider listening area. At the same time offering greater flexibility in positioning the loudspeakers.

Tweeter

The soft dome tweeter offers best-in-class resolution with an extended frequency response, wide dispersion and low colouration. A clear heritage from the DALI high-end series. The tweeter is based on an ultra-lightweight weaved fabric, which weighs less than half of the market standard (0.056 mg/mm2).

Woofer

Low-loss drivers made of low-mass paper cones with wood fibre reinforcement. The embedded wood fibre cones gives the surface an uneven structure, which dramatically minimizes the resonance of the surface. This creates the best possible reproduction of every detail in the audio signal.

Low Signal Loss

By using only DALI designed and custom-built drivers, the need for frequency correction in the crossover is eliminated. This has enabled DALI to design an exact crossover which together with carefully selected quality components ensures that the signal loss is close to zero.

The PVC composite jacket material has a soft tactile feel and combined with the multi-strand copper conductors this ensures a high level of flexibility. Fisual S-Flex can handle the abuse of a studio environment and the ice white colour means it will fit in with any decor at home too. The white colour, flexibility and diameter of this cable make it ideal for running along skirting with minimal visual impact.
