Key Features
The AudioQuest Rocket 22 Speaker Cable elevates sound quality with its implementation of higher-purity copper as the internal conductor, resulting in a significant audio improvement. The AudioQuest Rocket 22's conductors are intricately arranged in concentric layers, spiralling in opposite directions, carefully engineered to minimize signal interference and enhance signal transfer efficiency. Advanced insulation materials are used in the AudioQuest Rocket 22 to reduce signal loss and ensure overall signal integrity, further contributing to its exceptional performance. The cable's substantial thickness and premium feel enhance the user experience when connecting systems, adding a touch of luxury to your audio setup.

"The Rocket 22 is a flexible, well-balanced cable that should work well in a wide range of systems."
"The music is stately, with great dynamics, as well as intimate in the quieter sections and the loudspeaker cables effectively convey all of the required formality of such an occasion perfectly."
The AudioQuest Rocket 22 offers exceptional audio quality with its innovative Semi-Solid Concentric PSC + LGC conductors. Its double-spiral pair geometry ensures lower inductance for clearer sound, while advanced insulation materials reduce signal loss. Perfect for both full-range and bi-wire configurations, the AudioQuest Rocket 22 is designed for flexibility and durability, making it easy to install in any setup.
An audible step up from Rocket 11, the AudioQuest Rocket 22 is a high-performance, low-noise, CL3/FT4-certified cable designed to quickly and easily accommodate either full-range or single-bi-wire applications, making it an outstanding choice for custom installers and enthusiasts alike. With no breakouts, pants, or braids to cut back and dress, preparation is as simple as can be. AudioQuest SureGrip 300 spades or bananas, featuring Direct-Silver plating with no intermediate layer of distortion-causing nickel, are the perfect complement to Rocket 22. The slightly larger conductors in Rocket 22 use an extremely effective blend of LGC and Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC). Rocket 22 has 20 lower impedance than Rocket 11.
The AudioQuest Rocket 22 is available as both single-wire and bi-wire configurations. We offer a range of termination options to suit different needs; when ordering Rocket 22 speaker cable with terminations the cable is finished with AudioQuest's termination 'pants'.
The AudioQuest Rocket 22 uses a carefully finessed blend of Long-Grain Copper (LGC) and high-purity Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC). LGC has fewer impurities and fewer internal grain junctions than standard OFHC copper, while the even smoother, purer surface of PSC further eliminates harshness and improves clarity. All AudioQuest conductors are direction-controlled for optimum noise dissipation.
In a True-Concentric conductor design, each successive layer of stranded conductor spirals in the direction opposite of its underlying layer. This technique eliminates the lines of contact between adjacent conductor layers, while increasing pressure at the contact points, thereby significantly reducing electrical-contact strand interaction and its accompanying distortion.
A typical speaker cable with parallel conductors has fairly high inductance, smearing energy across time, which results in sound that is dull and unfocused. In the AudioQuest Rocket 22, the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around one another, providing lower inductance, greater clarity, and superior bass-to-treble frequency extension.
Use Rocket 22 as a full-range cable, with red (+) and black (-) conductors grouped together, or, when the speakers provide separate bass and treble inputs, further optimise system performance by bi-wiring.
