QED also offers install-ready options like the QX16/2 and QX16/4 ranges. These are made to be tough, letting you run them through walls, ceilings, and floors with confidence. They're also LSZH compliant, which means they won’t release toxic fumes if exposed to heat or flame.

QED cables have a distinctive sound character. Compared to other cable manufacturers like Chord Company and AudioQuest, they offer a middle ground between Chord’s brighter tones and AudioQuest’s warmer, softer presentation.
