The Wharfedale Evo 5.4 Floorstanding Speakers sit at the top of the Evo 5 range, offering the largest cabinet and most powerful driver setup for rooms where scale and authority matter. This new generation builds on the success of the multi-award-winning Evo 4 series, raising an already high bar with key upgrades that enhance clarity and minimise colouration across the frequency range. The most striking feature is the upgraded AMT tweeter, now larger and backed by SilentWeave damping material. This reduces reflections and smooths out the treble response, delivering open highs without harshness.
This sits above a dedicated 2-inch dome midrange driver, optimised for clearer vocal delivery. Below that, twin 6.5-inch Kevlar bass units use ResoSeal rings to tighten the low end and reduce unwanted resonance. Housed in a larger cabinet for better acoustic control and deeper bass, the Evo 5.4 also adds a triple-vented SLPP port underneath to tame airflow and make placement more forgiving. Inside, a split crossover reduces interference for seamless driver integration.
