The Wharfedale EVO 5.1 Bookshelf Speakers are the smallest in the EVO 5 range, designed for stereo hi-fi or home entertainment systems where space is at a premium. The 5.1 shares key upgrades introduced across the range, including a larger 35x70mm AMT tweeter and new SilentWeave damping material that helps reduce internal reflections and smooth out treble response. A 5-inch woven Kevlar bass driver handles both low and midrange content, also enhanced with a ResoSeal elastomer ring, adding weight to vocals.

Wharfedale's updated SLPP port vents in three directions, improving low-frequency control while making speaker placement more flexible. Despite its compact footprint, the EVO 5.1 includes the same hybrid plinth and multi-layer cabinet construction seen across the range, helping to limit cabinet colouration. This makes it a solid fit for compact setups where balanced, refined sound still matters.
