Wharfedales latest upgrade of the fabulous Diamond 100 series shows where simple improvements can really make a difference. These Diamond 220 bookshelf speakers have blown the roof off their predecessor, the Diamond 121 in more ways than one. Slight tweaks in construction alone helps reduce the already low levels of distortion. The gloss finish offering evens out the balance between modern and traditional styling, making them popular for all generations alike.
Internal tweaks include a revised magnet system for even tighter control of the sound. Bass, vocals and treble all throw out a sound quality which surprisingly you wouldn't expect to hear from a speaker in this price range. Small in size but certainly not small in sound.
