Q Acoustics' Gelcore design features two enclosures separated by a vibration-absorbing gel layer. This "cabinet within a cabinet" construction minimises resonance, allowing the drivers to perform without interference. As a result, the five-inch bass driver and one-inch tweeter deliver a detailed and well-balanced soundstage with much greater precision.

Gelcore Cabinet Construction
The Concept 20 uses Q Acoustics’ Gelcore technology, a cabinet design that significantly reduces unwanted vibrations. The space between the two layers of the enclosure is filled with a gel-like material that dissipates energy from the drivers, preventing resonance from colouring the sound. This ensures more accurate audio reproduction, allowing you to hear finer details in your music.
Precision-Engineered Drive Units
The five-inch bass driver and one-inch tweeter have been engineered for accurate sound reproduction. The bass driver features a coated paper cone for improved damping and transient response, while the tweeter uses a ferrofluid-cooled soft dome design.
