The W2M-CP sits in Monitor Audio’s Tier 2 Creator Series in-wall range, above the simpler Tier 1 models and below the higher-spec Tier 3 designs. It uses RST II bass and midrange drivers, giving it a more refined setup than the W1M models for clearer everyday listening. A dedicated 3-inch midrange driver helps vocals and dialogue stay focused, rather than asking one driver to cover too much. This makes it a strong choice for media rooms, living spaces and cinema channels where three-way detail and discreet wall placement both matter.
Controlled Performance
The CP suffix stands for Controlled Performance, meaning this version adds a fully sealed back box behind the speaker. This gives the drivers a defined air space rather than relying on the wall cavity, helping bass and midrange performance stay more predictable across different wall constructions. It also reduces rear sound output by around 30dB, helping limit transfer into adjoining rooms.
