Uni-Q Driver Array
All passive speakers in the system feature KEF’s Uni-Q driver array, which places the tweeter at the centre of the midrange cone. This configuration spreads sound evenly, so every seat in the room gets the same clarity and detail. The front Q Concerto Meta pair builds a focused and immersive soundstage, while the Q1 Meta surrounds carry that same character to the rear channels. Voices and effects move smoothly between speakers, making the system sound like a single, unified whole. The result is precise imaging with natural transitions across every channel.
Metamaterial Absorption Technology
Every speaker in the Q Series Meta system uses KEF’s Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), a complex acoustic structure that absorbs 99 percent of unwanted rear sound from the tweeter. This drastically reduces distortion and preserves clarity, especially in the high frequencies. MAT allows delicate details like reverb tails, subtle breath sounds or string textures to remain crisp and true, even in dense soundtracks.
