The product price includes 5 years' warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.
However, the AV.com extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.
The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:
Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.
For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard AV.com and manufacturer warranty policies, and the AV.com terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.

Key Features
The Genelec 8320APM Bi-Amplified Smart Active Monitor is designed for professional applications where space is limited but monitoring accuracy is essential. It combines a die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure with an advanced Directivity Control Waveguide for precise, neutral sound.
Product Ref: 169697
As a Smart Active Monitor, the 8320APM integrates with Genelec Loudspeaker Manager software. This connection allows it to measure the acoustic characteristics of your listening space and then automatically adjust the monitor’s response for optimum accuracy.
The process uses the GLM User Kit, which includes an interface adapter and a calibrated measurement microphone. The microphone is placed at the listening position, and the GLM software runs a series of test signals. These measurements are analysed and adjustments are applied to correct for room-related frequency issues and time delays.
Once calibration is complete, settings can be stored in the monitors or left under the control of the connected computer. This flexibility allows you to create accurate monitoring environments from single-speaker setups to immersive multichannel systems, making the 8320APM adaptable to a wide variety of professional tasks.
The monitor’s DSP manages the active crossover, driver protection and calibration functions. Each driver is powered by its own Class D amplifier, providing efficient power delivery and consistent performance at all levels. This separation of amplification ensures that both the low-frequency and high-frequency drivers operate within their optimal ranges, reducing distortion and maintaining clarity.
The 8320APM features a balanced analogue XLR input for direct connection to mixers, audio interfaces or other balanced output devices. For network control and calibration, it connects to the GLM system via dedicated ports located alongside the audio input. This arrangement keeps connections tidy and easily accessible for setup or reconfiguration.
The Intelligent Signal Sensing feature reduces energy consumption by switching the monitor into standby mode when no audio is detected for a preset time. Standby power usage is less than 0.5 watts. The ISS function can be enabled and configured via the GLM software, which allows you to select the idle time before entering standby. For constant use, ISS can be disabled so the monitor remains powered on until switched off manually.
The 8320APM delivers transparent reproduction with a wide sweet spot, allowing you to make reliable mix decisions from different listening positions. The combination of acoustic design, DSP correction and room calibration means it maintains accuracy even in challenging acoustic spaces. This makes it a dependable choice for audio work that demands consistency across multiple environments, such as location recording, post production and mobile mixing setups.
Its small size and robust build make the 8320APM easy to transport and quick to set up. In combination with GLM calibration, it can adapt rapidly to new rooms, ensuring you have a trusted monitoring reference wherever you work. From mono setups to full immersive systems, the 8320APM brings compact precision and smart adaptability to your monitoring workflow.
The 8320APM is designed for situations where space is at a premium, yet accurate sound is non-negotiable. Its compact form allows it to fit into tight workspaces, mobile rigs or portable recording setups, while its design and electronics maintain the accuracy and neutrality expected from Genelec monitors.
The die-cast aluminium Minimum Diffraction Enclosure reduces unwanted reflections from the cabinet edges, improving clarity. Combined with the Directivity Control Waveguide, this creates a wide and stable listening area that delivers consistent sound both on and off axis.
The enclosure is rear-ported, enabling impressive low-frequency performance for its size. Its curved profile also contributes to an even frequency response, helping to reveal details in a mix without unwanted colouration. This compact format makes the 8320APM a practical choice for small studios, editing suites and location work.
