This Wall Wash uses 12 3W UV LEDs, providing a total output of 36 Watts. Compared to blacklight tubes and filaments, LEDs are much more efficient. They don't require additional filters or create unnecessarily visible light, so they operate cooler and consume far less energy than traditional bulbs. They're also much less fragile, which is essential for life on the road.
Perfect for the stage, drama or DJs, the Galaxy 36W UV Wall Wash Bar by Gear4music can be mounted on walls, ceilings or floors. It also uses a reflective lens design, to achieve a smoother projection across a large area.
Used for special effects, UV lighting interacts with certain florescent materials so they glow in vivid neon colours. Also known as a 'blacklight', it produces a faint purple hue and ultraviolet light.
