This slender soundbar comprises a total of 13 drivers for power and definition. These 13 are made up of six long-throw four-inch cone woofers for exceptional midranges and 30 Hz bass. A further five one-inch aluminium dome tweeters deliver crisp and clear high frequencies. Two full-range, top-firing drivers finalise the line-up and create the feeling of height within your soundstage.

A 5.1.4 Experience

The AMBEO Max comes with a microphone for the advanced calibration of your soundstage. After registering the acoustic environment around it, your new soundbar utilises sophisticated virtualisation technology to mimic the dimensionality of a 5.1.4 speaker setup. Thanks to 13 speaker drivers and a broad frequency range, this soundbar will blow you away with its sound capability, so much so that an external subwoofer may not be necessary.

Updated User Experience

After undergoing an AMBEOS|OS update, the AMBEOS Max now facilitates AirPlay2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect wireless streaming between devices. These can be controlled remotely from both the all-new Smart Control App and/or web browser interface. Both new control platforms are designed for fast and effortless performance looking stunning and modern all the while.

Smart Sennheiser Design

Designed with functionality, performance, and appearance in mind, the AMBEO Max simultaneously looks great in your interior, is easy to operate, and produces the best sound quality. Input and output ports are positioned on the rear of the soundbar, near the base, to minimise the visibility of any cable clutter. An overall minimalistic design is versatile and easy to style in any interior. For further versatility, a wall mounting accessory—the SB01-WM—is available as an optional add-on.

360 Reality Audio

By using object-based 360 spatial sound technology from Sony, the AMBEO Max disperses sound categories such as vocals, piano, bass, etc. across a spherical sound field in your room. This enhances the soundbar’s already impressive surround sound virtualisation. This 360 Reality Audio feature will function across Google Chromecast streams for 3Deffects on additional devices.
