Marantz Cinema 70s Series 2 AV Receiver, Black Overview
The Marantz CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 AV Receiver is designed for home cinema systems that need immersive sound in a slimmer, more room-friendly chassis. Its 7.2-channel configuration and 50W per channel output make it a strong fit for smaller media rooms, living rooms, and compact surround sound setups.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support help create a more spacious soundstage, while the upgraded 32-bit 8-channel DAC is designed to improve clarity, resolution, and dynamic range across films, music, and games. Six HDMI ports, including eARC, make it easy to connect a TV and modern sources. Powered by HEOS, the CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 also supports app control, music streaming, multi-room playback, and optional Dirac Live room correction for more advanced system tuning.

Full Description
View Full DescriptionSlimline 7.2-Channel Cinema Sound
The CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 gives you seven channels of amplification in a compact slimline design, making it easier to build a capable home cinema system without using a full-size AV receiver. Dolby Atmos support lets you add height effects, giving films and games a stronger sense of space and movement around the room. Twin subwoofer outputs also provide greater flexibility when positioning bass speakers, helping you achieve smoother and more consistent low-frequency performance across a wider seating area.
HDMI eARC And Modern Connectivity
Six HDMI inputs give you plenty of flexibility for connecting a TV, games console, media player, disc player, and other home cinema sources. HDMI eARC also allows a compatible television to send audio back to the receiver through the same HDMI cable, helping keep wiring simple and easier to manage. Support for 8K video and Dolby Vision means the CINEMA 70s SERIES 2 can also sit comfortably at the centre of a modern, high-quality AV system.
HEOS Streaming And Room Correction
Built-in HEOS gives you access to music streaming, app control, and multi-room playback with compatible Marantz and HEOS-enabled products. You can enjoy services including Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, TuneIn, and AirPlay without adding a separate streamer. Optional Dirac Live room correction also provides a useful upgrade path, helping you fine-tune the receiver to your room and speaker placement for more balanced, precise performance across your main listening area.
