HDMI 2.1 Switching with Full 8K Support

The RMC1+ features eight HDMI 2.1 inputs and two outputs, giving you support for full 8K resolution, Variable Refresh Rate, and Fixed Rate Link. It handles modern source devices with ease, including next-gen consoles, media streamers, and UHD Blu-ray players. Fast Port Switching reduces handshake delays, while eARC support allows hi-res audio to pass back from your display. All HDMI ports are fully compliant, ready for the most demanding video pipelines.

Balanced XLR Outputs on All Channels

All 16 audio output channels use fully balanced XLR connections, ensuring clean signal delivery with reduced noise and interference. Each output runs through a dedicated Burr-Brown PCM1795 DAC operating in mono mode for improved channel separation. Whether you're powering a twelve-channel amp rack or bi-amping fronts in a music-first system, the RMC1+ delivers unmatched high analogue performance across your entire speaker array.

Decoding for Atmos, DTS:X Pro, and More

You can run Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio with native decoding, up to 15.1 speaker layouts. That includes support for wide surrounds, multiple height layers, and up to three independently managed subwoofers. Upmixers like Dolby Surround and DTS Neural:X let you make use of all your speakers even with older content, and both Dolby and DTS Virtual Height modes are included for setups without ceiling speakers.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Dirac Live lets you tune every speaker and subwoofer to your room, correcting time alignment, frequency response, and phase. You can store multiple profiles or switch to manual control using built-in parametric EQ and direct integration with Room EQ Wizard (REW).

Flexible System Integration and Control

The RMC1+ includes a built-in web interface for full control via phone, tablet, or laptop. You can adjust inputs, trims, modes, and Dirac profiles remotely. Manual EQ is also supported, with REW integration for custom calibration and filter import.

Future-Proof Modular Design

Three expansion ports let you customise the system. The unit includes a moving magnet phono stage and balanced input module, with one slot free. You can add future modules for new formats or connectivity as your system expands or your needs change.
