The iFi iDSD GR 2 Portable DAC and Headphone Amplifier is designed for listeners who want high-quality wired and wireless headphone playback in a compact, travel-ready unit. As the successor to the xDSD Gryphon, it uses a Burr-Brown PCM1795 current-output DAC, fully balanced analogue circuitry, upgraded iEMatch, and up to 1513mW RMS power output for improved control with demanding headphones and sensitive IEMs.
Connectivity is broad enough for portable, desktop, and hi-fi use, with USB-C, S/PDIF optical/coaxial, Bluetooth 5.4, 4.4mm balanced, and 3.5mm single-ended connections. Hi-res support covers PCM up to 768kHz and DSD512, while aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, LHDC/HWA, AAC, and SBC give strong wireless flexibility. The OLED capacitive touchscreen, iFi Nexis app support, K2HD processing, and hybrid power mode make everyday listening easier to tailor.
