SLM Titanium Body
Using Ortofon's revolutionising Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technique, the housing of the MC Diamond has been welded from titanium particles into a single-piece body. This extreme level of control during production allows the cartridge to shed unnecessary materials which might hamper other cartridges whilst also having key attention paid to its overall density. This results in a cartridge with outstanding levels of internal dampening, significantly reducing distortion and propelling your vinyl experience to new bounds.
Diamond Cantilever and Stylus
Employing a true diamond cantilever, the MC Diamond cartridge offers cutting-edge levels of speed and transparency. In combination with the Ortofon Replicant 100, this highly polished, line contact nude diamond stylus offers the very best in analogue data retrieval with low distortion, extended frequency range and, maximising vertical contact with the groove walls, allows you to come closer than ever before to the intended recording.
Suspension and Optimisation
