The 2M Mono features an improved Mono engine, which provides a high level of sonic accuracy. The meticulously cut R 18µm Nude Spherical stylus is also an optimal solution for playing mono microgroove vinyl records. Re-open a whole world of Mono recordings with 2M. Ortofon's 2M Mono uses a strapped output to deliver the same output signal from both sets of pole pins. This effectively eliminates the need for mono-specific equipment, making it possible to enjoy true mono reproduction on any stereo playback system.

Please Note: If you purchase this replacement stylus to use on any other 2M cartridge, apart from the 2M Mono, the sound performance will not be true mono. We only recommend using this stylus on the 2M Mono cartridge body.
