The Musical Fidelity B1xi Integrated Amplifier builds on the legacy of the original 1990s B-series, prioritising sound quality and reliability over modern additions like screens, apps, or streaming, offering a more traditional, purist listening experience. It uses a fully discrete Class A/B design with a generously rated toroidal transformer to deliver 60W per channel into 8 ohms and 100W into 4 ohms, meaning you get clean and controlled power that's suitable for a wide range of real-world speakers. A separate preamp supply keeps background noise low and preserves signal clarity at all volumes.

When it comes to connecting your gear, you get a dedicated MM phono stage for direct turntable integration, three line-level RCA inputs, coaxial and optical digital inputs, HDMI ARC for linking your TV audio, and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless playback. All digital sources are isolated on separate boards with their own linear power supplies, feeding into a carefully tuned ESS9018 DAC.
