Desktop-Class Output, Anywhere

With up to 650mW per channel in desktop mode, the BTR17 delivers serious power from a compact form. This mode uses an independent USB power input to avoid battery drain, making it ideal for long listening sessions at home or work. Eight op-amps feed a THX AAA 78+ amplifier circuit, offering clean, dynamic sound with excellent control—even for power-hungry over-ear headphones. Outside of desktop mode, it still delivers 300mW BAL or 140mW SE, giving you strong performance wherever you are.

Lossless Wireless with aptX and LDAC

Whether you’re streaming from your phone or working wirelessly from a laptop, the BTR17 keeps your audio crisp and detailed. The Qualcomm QCC5181 chipset supports Bluetooth 5.4, aptX Lossless, LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and more, giving you high-resolution audio over wireless connections. This means you can listen in CD-quality or better, with lower latency. Snapdragon Sound ensures everything stays synchronised, making the BTR17 just as comfortable with streaming apps as it is with local hi-res files.

Refined DAC and Tuning Tools

At the heart of the BTR17 are two ES9069Q DACs using fourth-gen HyperStream architecture for improved clarity and efficiency. These work in tandem with a 16-core XMOS USB processor to support PCM up to 768kHz, DSD512, and full MQA decoding. You can adjust your sound precisely using the ten-band PEQ, available via app or web. Whether you want to match specific headphones or just tailor your sound to taste, the BTR17 gives you full control in a format you can take anywhere.

Easy Switching and Compatibility

With a physical three-way switch for PC, Bluetooth, and Phone modes, the BTR17 adapts quickly to whatever you're using.
