The Emotiva BasX PT2 Stereo Preamp w/ DAC & Tuner is a high-performance stereo preamplifier, at an unexpectedly good price. The BasX PT2 boasts a multitude of features including a high-performance stereo FM tuner, ample inputs for line-level analogue sources, a built-in DAC with numerous digital inputs catering to all digital audio sources, and a phono preamp supporting both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.

BasX PT2 has a high-resolution asynchronous USB input and an aptX HD-capable Bluetooth receiver. You can control this preamp via the straightforward front panel or an included infrared remote control. Configuration and operation are simple thanks to an intuitive menu system and a large bright blue VFD front panel display.

Paired with a power amplifier and speakers, the PT2 creates an excellent stereo system. Alternatively, with the addition of a powered subwoofer through the comprehensive active Bass Management system, a complete audiophile-quality 2.1 channel system can be established. Building on the legacy of its predecessors, the PT-100 and PT1, the new BasX PT2 brings important additions such as more inputs, an active analogue Bass Management system, a remote-controllable FM tuner, Home Theatre Bypass inputs, and a sleek modern design aesthetic.
