Dorpo Digital DMP-A1 Music Streamer, DAC and Pre-Amp

The Dorpo DMP-A1 is a high-performance digital music player designed for listeners who want a complete HiFi source in one component. It combines a network streamer, DAC, preamplifier, and headphone amplifier in a single aluminium chassis. At its core is the ESS ES9039S Pro DAC, delivering low distortion and high-resolution decoding for formats up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz. A third-generation XMOS XU316 USB interface ensures stable high-bandwidth audio transmission, while a dual low-jitter clock system improves timing accuracy for cleaner and more precise playback.

The DMP-A1 also works as the central hub of a modern audio system. It provides optical, coaxial, and HDMI ARC inputs alongside RCA and balanced XLR preamp outputs for integration with amplifiers and active speakers. A built-in balanced headphone amplifier offers both 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs with high and low gain modes to suit a wide range of headphones. Streaming support includes services such as Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz, and AirPlay, while Bluetooth 5.4 with advanced codecs allows convenient wireless playback. A 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and the Android-based FunplayUI interface provide intuitive control, with additional operation available through the dedicated mobile app or supplied remote.
