The D7 takes this heritage and condenses it into a compact, approachable unit. It delivers much of the same clarity, precision, and intuitive design, but with updated connectivity and modern features. It's a continuation of what made the M-DAC iconic, made more accessible for today’s listener.

While the D9 brings expanded features for more complex systems, the D7 remains a strong choice for listeners seeking simplicity with premium performance. Both share Audiolab’s refined digital engineering and elegant design ethos. The D7 offers essential digital inputs, balanced XLR and RCA outputs, and aptX HD Bluetooth for high-quality wireless listening. It lacks the AES/EBU input and colour display found on the D9, but its streamlined layout and smaller footprint make it ideal for setups where space and ease of use are key priorities without compromising on audio quality.
