Grado Classic RS1 Headphones

The Grado Classic RS1 Headphones are designed for listeners who want a more refined expression of Grado’s open-back sound. As one of the brand’s defining models, the RS1 builds on Grado’s long use of wooden housings, now using a tri-wood construction made from cocobolo, hemp, and maple. These materials combine density, damping, and structural stability to help shape a layered, controlled, and naturally engaging presentation.

A larger 50mm X2 dynamic driver sits at the centre of the design, using a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare earth magnetic system for expressive midrange detail and musical immediacy. The Signature Gold headband assembly adds aluminium alloy gimbals, stainless steel height rods, reinforced aluminium junction blocks, and a leather headstrap for a more secure, comfortable fit. L cushions keep the sound focused and direct, while the lighter Signature Silver cable improves flexibility during home listening.
