The Bowers and Wilkins Formation Duo are a pair of active bookshelf speakers which are part of Bowers and Wilkins' Formation range of wireless speakers. These are the powerhouse speakers of the Formation range, coming in a pair these will fill any room thanks to the 124 watts of power coming from each speaker. The design is pure Bowers and Wilkins, the protruding tweeter-on-top using the same carbon dome design as many other speakers from Bowers and Wilkins.
The Duos have more engineering cues from other B&W products, the Continuum cone from the 800 Series Diamond has been used in these speakers. With a weaved synthetic material similar to Kevlar, the Continuum cone is stiffer though and therefore provides more self-damping. As a Formation speaker pair, these will integrate seamlessly with the rest of your Formation speakers and uses the same hi-res sound technology as all the other speakers. These are a real treat for fans of the Formation series and for those looking for a good stereo pair of speakers.

Once connected you can browse your artists, albums and playlists and instantly stream the audio to your speakers.
Smart controls
Formation also has some smart features to really level up your experience. Spotify connect allows you to connect effortlessly to the speakers from the Spotify app on any device, not just your phone. You can have a single, seamless experience from your phone, to your laptop, to your desktop computer and to your Formation Duos. Airplay 2 allows you to instantly mirror sound from your iPhone, iPad or Macintosh computer to your sound system. The close integration with Apple products makes Airplay the easiest way for Apple users to stream audio.
