Design

The Spectrum X4 Speakers are a small pair of bookshelf speakers with impressive sound quality. Their design features rounded corners which not only look elegant but improve user-friendliness during installation and beyond. In both the black and white finishes, the Spectrum X4 speakers sit on walnut veneer base plates, helping to support and stabilise. The speakers themselves are protected by mesh grilles made of metal which prolong the life of the crucial drivers.

Amplifier Compatibility

These passive speakers are recommended for use with 20 – 100 Watt amplifiers which have a 4-8 Ohm impedance load. By using any good amplifier which meets these specifications, the Spectrum X4 will perform at its best. The key to maximising the life span of these small speakers is treating them kindly, observing their power capacity and keeping the volume at a reasonable level.

Sound

For the best sound, place the Tangent Spectrum X4 bookshelf speakers a small distance from walls and other obstructions.
