Key Features
AudioQuest Rocket 11 Speaker cable could be just the thing to give your system a new lease of life. The Rocket 11 is constructed with high-quality materials, including high-purity Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors and features a double spiral pair geometry allowing this cable to perform well above it’s price point. The AudioQuest Rocket 11 is designed to deliver a balanced and detailed sound with good dynamics, clarity, and a wide soundstage. It aims to ensure that the listener enjoys an immersive and engaging audio experience.

"If you’re looking to optimise the performance of your hi-fi system, the AudioQuest Rocket 11 speaker cable will lend a helping hand."
AudioQuest Rocket 11 speaker cable utilises both stranded and solid 'Long-Grain Copper' semi-solid true-concentric conductors, a first for AudioQuest. The combination of 'Long-Grain Copper' and true-concentric conductors ensures the Rocket 11 deliver a more balanced, dynamic and cleaner sound.
"True-Concentric" is an industry standard term for when each layer of strands in a concentric conductor is spiralled in the opposite direction from the layer below, eliminating the lines of contact between the layers, and increasing contact pressure at the points of contact. The downside is much more machine time and higher cost – the upside is better sound you can hear. True-Concentric construction significantly furthers the beneficial effect of the skin-effect by dramatically increasing layer autonomy.
Rocket 11 is available as both single wire and bi-wire configurations. We offer a range of termination options to suit different needs, when ordering Rocket 11 speaker cable with terminations the cable is finished with AudioQuest's termination 'pants'.
In a True-Concentric conductor design, each successive layer of stranded conductor spirals in the direction opposite of its underlying layer. This technique eliminates the lines of contact between adjacent conductor layers, while increasing pressure at the contact points, thereby significantly reducing electrical-contact strand interaction and its accompanying distortion.
In a conventional multi-strand cable, distortion caused by electrical and magnetic strand interaction is compounded as each strand changes position within the bundle. In an AQ Semi-Solid Concentric Packed cable, strands within the bundle maintain their fixed relationships, significantly reducing distortion.
A typical speaker cable with parallel conductors has fairly high inductance, smearing energy across time, which results in sound that is dull and unfocused. In Rocket 11, the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around one another, providing lower inductance, greater clarity, and superior bass-to-treble frequency extension.
Use Rocket 11 as a full-range cable, with red (+) and black (-) conductors grouped together (2 x 13 AWG), or, when the speakers provide separate bass and treble inputs, further optimize system performance by biwiring (4 x 16 AWG).
