The Yamaha Aventage MX-5000 offers a full eleven channels of super high grade Yamaha amplification, utilising top quality components and advanced discrete and symmetrical design with a monster power supply to deliver an incredibly powerful yet transparent delivery. Ultimate home cinema starts here.
Meticulous planning has gone into every part of the MX-5000 from careful component selection right through to consideration reducing resonances within the case design to every degree possible. The hefty toroidal transformer and over sized capacitors ensure there is plenty of headroom available - even when driving all 11 channels.
Of course the 11 channel set-up makes room for plenty of speaker placement options and wiring choices, leaving room to bi-amp several speakers in a configuration. Whilst many receivers provide the option of bi-amping front left and right speakers to increase performance in stereo music applications, the MX-5000 provides you with the rare option of bi-amping front and surround or more importantly front and centre, which many high end speakers cater to.
Aventage MX-5000 carries on the legacy of the incredible Z11 but in a pre-power configuration which not only enables it to deliver even more impressive amplification quality but also make it far more flexible as the channel selection example shows, combine it with the CX-5000 for the ultimate experience but the MX-5000 can also be used with existing processors and receivers to add additional channels and power.
As part of its uncompromising design, the MX-A5200 boasts a specially designed chassis to maximise rigidity and eliminate the effects of vibration. The MX-A5200 employs a double bottom construction consisting of vibration control plates made of 1.6 mm steel - echoing that of the legendary Z11 AV receiver. In order to support the heavy heat sinks and other components, a left-right independent construction strengthened by a rigid-frame structure is utilised. The bottom frame reduces the transmission of vibration produced by the large power supply transformer and heat sinks. The MX-A5200 also incorporates a heavy insulator that blocks external vibration.
When connecting AV components, electrical noise can be introduced - a result of the connections between them and also from other sources of external noise. To combat this inherent issue, the MX-A5200 utilises balanced connections for all 11-channels - the same type found in professional audio applications. Additionally, the alternative RCA unbalanced connection uses a ground sensing transmission method that achieves simple balanced transmission.
Precisely planned, circuit-routed and designed with a symmetrical power amplifier layout, the MX-A5200 achieves ideal channel separation with left and right sides being both physically and electrically isolated. The design also greatly improves signal-to-noise ratio and achieves an expansive sound stage.
The MX-A5200 offers 11 x discrete channels of amplification with flexible configuration options - delivering an impressive combination of power and quality. Enjoy the flexibility of a multi-zone system or immerse yourself in exhilarating surround sound using any combination of 11-channels.
AVENTAGE Separate Components represent the pinnacle in exhilarating home entertainment. In pursuit of the ultimate in home cinema, Yamaha establishes a new benchmark in performance and innovation. Introducing the CX-A5200 pre-amplifier and MX-A5200 power amplifier.
The MX-A5200 utilises a high-output, large toroidal transformer combined with 2 specially developed high-capacity block capacitors to deliver massive power with generous headroom. Also, energy loss is minimised and ensures effortless reproduction of sound sources.
Stabilising the chassis is the key to enhanced performance and deep, sinking sound. The MX-A5200 achieves this by employing a thick bottom plate which acts to steady the entire structure and achieve optimal sound.
To further enhance power capacity, the MX-A5200 supports Bridge Tied Load (BTL) configuration for the front 2 channels. This allows for a major improvement to the front speaker performance.
The rear of the MX-A52000 features high-quality, gold-plated terminals that are compatible with Y plugs (spade connectors) for optimal connections with speakers.
