Key Features
The Rotel RCD-1572MKII follows Rotel's proud tradition of designing great quality CD players. Since 1989 Rotel has been creating CD players that can reproduce music to an exceptional level of accuracy and clarity. Engineered especially for low noise, the RCD-1572 uses an in-house manufactured low noise toroidal transformer. Each of the separate circuits is fed by an individual transformer output, each with dedicated voltage and current regulators. This achieves optimum noise isolation. This is also aided by the circuit board layouts employed.

The digital to analogue conversion is done using a premium Texas Instruments 32-bit DAC with custom-tuned external analogue output filters. This is supported by Rotel's proprietary Balanced Design Concept which ensures an accurate and precise frequency response. Texas Instruments is the same company that produces Burr Brown DACs so you can be assured that this is of exquisite quality.
With RCA or XLR analogue outputs you can send the signal from this CD player to an amplifier of your choice and distribute the signal throughout your system. A digital coaxial out also enables you to send the audio signal to an external DAC if you have a dedicated unit in your setup. The 12v Trigger and RS232 plugs on the RCD-1572 also enable you to access some remote control functionalities so you can have your whole system's control centralised.
The smooth action tray loader allows for easy loading and unloading of your CDS while also not introducing not too much mechanical noise. For making tweaks to your system the front panel features a two-line VFD display. The display can show pieces of information like the play status, CD time encoding details and the metadata for the CD.
