The Lehmann Audio Rhinelander offers high end performance for a beginner’s budget . Its sonic kinship with Lehmann Audio’s top of the range model, the Linear, is unmistakeable. Selected top grade components and a sophisticated circuit design guarantee listening pleasure. Uncommon for a headphone amplifier at this price point, the Lehmann Audio Rhinelander features low loss MKP capacitors in the audio path for a perfect transient response and a quiet power supply with extra long life capacitors. The potentiometers are hand-picked for an excellent channel balance to maintain the localisation as steady as it is on the recording. The Lehmann Audio Rhinelander also features two inputs plus an input selector that uses a high-quality relay.
The powerful, discrete solid-state output stage gives the Lehmann Audio Rhinelander a very transparent sound and has enough power reserves for the vast majority of today’s headphones. The gain of the Rhinelander can be adjusted via jumper for the different types of headphones. Even with entry-level devices, Lehmannaudio puts a lot of effort into details.
